A few weeks ago, a wonderful couple we had originally met at a local home and garden show stopped into our design studio. They had just finished installing a stunning front paver patio and were in search of a fire feature that would reflect the same level of thought and craftsmanship they had invested into the space. What they didn’t want was anything ordinary. Located in the Lake Country area of Pewaukee, WI. They were after a fire table that was truly distinctive—something durable, stylish, and perfectly suited to the unpredictable Midwest seasons.

They had a vision, and luckily, they came to the right place.
We walked through our handcrafted collection of GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) fire tables and demonstrated a few models that might align with their ideas. Functionality was also key: they planned to use propane and needed a hidden tank solution that was both practical and elegant. We customized their fire table with a built-in access door—keeping the propane tank completely out of sight without sacrificing ease of use.
They were immediately drawn to our Coastal Flow fire table, but the standard height and surface area didn’t quite meet their needs. One of the benefits of working with a company that handcrafts each piece to order is flexibility—we were able to scale the top for more serving space and increase the height to better suit their patio layout. But what truly set this project apart was our ability to match the fire table’s colors to their existing pavers, creating a seamless extension of their outdoor living space.
Throughout the fabrication process, we kept in close contact, sending photo updates and making sure every detail aligned with their expectations. After final testing, sealing, and quality checks, we arranged delivery and handled the full setup—adjusting the flame controls, positioning the fire media, and ensuring everything was working flawlessly.
They had chosen a beautiful two-tone finish—one color for the tabletop and a contrasting hue for the base. Once the fire table was installed, the fit was perfect. It complemented their patio not just in function, but in design, adding a luxurious, custom-built focal point right in their front yard. We even made a custom matching planter for them.
We also included a protective cover to guard against falling debris and extend the life of their new fire feature. Watching their reaction as they saw the fire table in place was a reminder of why we love what we do. Creating unique, long-lasting outdoor fire tables that bring people together is more than a job—it’s a passion. We strive to deliver five-star service with every handcrafted piece, designed to be enjoyed for years to come.
