How We Handle Every Piece, Start to Finish

Stripping. Pieces come out of their forms carefully and individually, not pried or forced loose to save time. Rushed stripping is one of the more common ways a still-curing piece takes an impact it wasn’t ready for.

One piece at a time. We’re a small, custom shop, not a mass-production line. Every table is processed individually through cleanup, finishing, and staging, which means it always has our full attention rather than being handled in a batch alongside a dozen other pieces moving through on a schedule.

Shop processing. Moving a piece within the shop — onto a cart, into a finishing area, into storage — is done with the same care as the initial strip. A piece within its full cure window is treated as fragile throughout, not just on day one.

Loading and crating. Before a table leaves the shop, it’s inspected and securely crated for its trip. Custom crating means the piece is supported evenly across its base rather than resting on a few contact points that concentrate stress in one area — a detail that matters because uneven support during transit is one of the most common causes of the internal flexing that creates micro-fractures.

Shipping and tracking. Once a table ships, you’ll receive a tracking number so you can follow the curbside delivery. Freight handling is outside our direct control once it leaves our dock, which is exactly why the crating on our end has to be built to protect the piece through the bumps and handling of standard freight transport.

Delivery inspection. We ask every customer to visually inspect and photograph the crate before accepting delivery if anything looks damaged or out of place, and to contact us immediately if it does.
